About the role

  • The Mid-Level Backend Developer will be responsible for developing and maintaining backend solutions, focusing on Node.js (TypeScript) and integration with AWS cloud services.
  • Responsible for implementing scalable and secure APIs, integrating with messaging systems, and collaborating with the team to ensure quality and continuous improvement of deliveries.
  • Develop and maintain backend APIs using Node.js and TypeScript.
  • Implement scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions.
  • Work with relational and non-relational databases (MySQL, DynamoDB, etc.).
  • Contribute to code reviews and continuous improvement practices.
  • Support the implementation of CI/CD pipelines and the use of containers (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Collaborate on integrations using messaging systems (Kafka, SNS, SQS).
  • Apply secure development best practices throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Actively participate in team work, contributing to a collaborative and learning-oriented environment.
  • Experience using AI in development will be considered a plus.

Requirements

  • Language: Node.js with TypeScript – intermediate/advanced level.
  • Cloud AWS: Lambda, Serverless, S3, DynamoDB – practical experience.
  • Messaging: Kafka, SNS, SQS – working knowledge and project experience.
  • DevOps: CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes – experience in teams that use these processes.
  • Databases: Intermediate knowledge of relational (MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.) and non-relational (DynamoDB, MongoDB, etc.) databases.
  • Security: Basic understanding of secure development practices.
  • EDUCATION: High school diploma - completed.
