About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support the commercial team as the business scales
- Engage with shipowners, operators, and naval architects
- Translate technical and performance data into clear proposals
- Contribute to feasibility work, fuel savings modelling, and ROI discussions
- Attend meetings, gather technical information
- Maintain momentum across longer sales cycles that typically run from six months to a year
Requirements
What you’ll need- A degree in Mechanical Engineering, Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture, Aerospace Engineering, Renewable Energy or similar
- Some experience in an engineering, technical sales support or a customer facing engineering role
- The ability to understand and explain technical concepts clearly to both technical and non technical stakeholders
- An interest in customer interaction and commercially driven projects
- Strong organisation skills and the confidence to contribute in meetings
- A genuine interest in maritime decarbonisation, clean technology or vessel efficiency
- Ability to travel internationally to customer sites, shipyards and industry events
