About the role

Participates in cross functional planning while providing guidance on ServiceNow best practices and standards
Translate business requirements into platform solution options to meet business objectives
Provide technical development guidance to junior team members
Provide application software development services and technical leadership support
Develop program logic for new applications or modify existing ones
Design, code, test, debugs, document, implement and maintain software applications
Analyze requirements, maintain, test and integrate application components
Ensure system improvements are implemented; manage SLAs and maintenance schedules
Handle incidents per published SLAs; address issues impacting SLAs
Implement ServiceNow workflows that integrate with external web services (API Webhooks)
Design a workflow framework applicable to multiple workflows; identify improvements to manual processes
Define services that ServiceNow delivers; align with customer definitions and metrics
Maintain a ServiceNow roadmap aligned with IT and SNOW’s customers

12+ years of overall IT and ITSM experience
8+ years’ experience developing on the ServiceNow platform
HTML, CSS, Javascript, AJAX proficiency
Experience with React/AngularJS; DOM manipulation
Web services and microservice framework development
RESTful API guidelines
ServiceNow scripting, configuration, design, deployment; CMDB; patching/upgrades
Excellent communication skills
Preferred: MySQL/SQL Server & NoSQL/Relational DB; SOAP/REST/JSON; JDBC
Agile/Scrum experience; ServiceNow CSA, Certified Implementation Specialist in ITSM/ITBM/ITOM modules; Certified Application Developer
JavaScript/HTML5/Jelly/jQuery/AngularJS experience
