About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Advise clients on testing methods and test strategies in test automation, across both traditional and agile approaches
Automate tests using GUIs, web services, interfaces, and other technologies
Design, implement, and continuously enhance automated test frameworks
Plan and execute automated unit, system, integration, UAT, and end-to-end (E2E) tests using various tools
Monitor test progress and report test results
Work closely with an international, interdisciplinary project team

Requirements

What you’ll need

Degree in Computer Science or comparable training in IT, or entry into the profession from another field
One to two years of professional experience, or experience gained through student employment/an internship in test automation
Knowledge of testing tools such as Selenium, HP UFT, Appium, Cucumber, Cypress, JUnit, or SoapUI
Experience with software development environments such as Azure DevOps, Jira, Jenkins, Git, or Maven
Initial programming experience, for example in Java, Python, C#, or Perl
ISTQB® certification is desirable
Very good command of German and English
