About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Advise clients on testing methods and test strategies in test automation, across both traditional and agile approaches
- Automate tests using GUIs, web services, interfaces, and other technologies
- Design, implement, and continuously enhance automated test frameworks
- Plan and execute automated unit, system, integration, UAT, and end-to-end (E2E) tests using various tools
- Monitor test progress and report test results
- Work closely with an international, interdisciplinary project team
Requirements
What you’ll need- Degree in Computer Science or comparable training in IT, or entry into the profession from another field
- One to two years of professional experience, or experience gained through student employment/an internship in test automation
- Knowledge of testing tools such as Selenium, HP UFT, Appium, Cucumber, Cypress, JUnit, or SoapUI
- Experience with software development environments such as Azure DevOps, Jira, Jenkins, Git, or Maven
- Initial programming experience, for example in Java, Python, C#, or Perl
- ISTQB® certification is desirable
- Very good command of German and English
