About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Technical responsibility for SAP Basis architectures as well as the operation and further development of complex SAP system landscapes
You manage projects and take on functional and/or line management responsibility for teams in the SAP Basis area
Planning and execution of transformations to SAP S/4HANA and SAP Cloud ERP, including use of RISE with SAP and GROW with SAP
Integration of SAP systems into cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure and design of hybrid architectures
Analysis of existing SAP landscapes and derivation of migration and optimization strategies
Ensuring operational, security, and compliance requirements
You support pre-sales activities, conduct workshops, and present technical solutions to customers
Prospective takeover of a team leader role with functional and line management responsibility

Requirements

What you’ll need

Several years of experience in the SAP Basis environment, ideally in a technical lead or senior role
Solid knowledge of SAP S/4HANA, SAP NetWeaver, and both classic and modern SAP architectures
Experience with SAP-relevant databases, in particular SAP HANA and preferably Oracle or comparable systems
Experience with cloud transformations and programs such as RISE with SAP and GROW with SAP
Know-how in integrating SAP systems into cloud environments, particularly Microsoft Azure
Structured, solution-oriented working style and confident presence with stakeholders
Very good written and spoken German and English
