About the role

  • Technical responsibility for SAP Basis architectures as well as the operation and further development of complex SAP system landscapes
  • You manage projects and take on functional and/or line management responsibility for teams in the SAP Basis area
  • Planning and execution of transformations to SAP S/4HANA and SAP Cloud ERP, including use of RISE with SAP and GROW with SAP
  • Integration of SAP systems into cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure and design of hybrid architectures
  • Analysis of existing SAP landscapes and derivation of migration and optimization strategies
  • Ensuring operational, security, and compliance requirements
  • You support pre-sales activities, conduct workshops, and present technical solutions to customers
  • Prospective takeover of a team leader role with functional and line management responsibility

Requirements

  • Several years of experience in the SAP Basis environment, ideally in a technical lead or senior role
  • Solid knowledge of SAP S/4HANA, SAP NetWeaver, and both classic and modern SAP architectures
  • Experience with SAP-relevant databases, in particular SAP HANA and preferably Oracle or comparable systems
  • Experience with cloud transformations and programs such as RISE with SAP and GROW with SAP
  • Know-how in integrating SAP systems into cloud environments, particularly Microsoft Azure
  • Structured, solution-oriented working style and confident presence with stakeholders
  • Very good written and spoken German and English
