About the role

  • Making outbound calls to customers and care homes to secure new business
  • Contacting customers to inform them about our audiology services and products
  • Answering questions about products or the company and discussing the customers’ needs
  • Asking questions to understand customer requirements and secure new business for the Optical Domiciliary Team
  • Managing NHS and Private patient sales and conversions
  • Ensuring you meet and exceed set business KPI’s and SLA’s in line with company processes, and procedures
  • Keeping records of calls and sales and noting useful information
  • Working collaboratively across the business to encourage positive teamwork
  • Once trained, going out across the region with an Optometrist to help support and conduct clinics and aftercare for patients in their homes and in the care home sector

Requirements

  • Proven experience in outbound telesales or business development
  • Proven track record of successfully meeting sales and conversion targets over the phone
  • Good knowledge of sales techniques to overcome objections
  • Ability to learn about products and services and describe/explain them to prospects
  • Excellent knowledge of English
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Outstanding negotiation skills with the ability to resolve issues and address complaints if required
  • Full UK driving license
