About the role

  • Performs activities covering the entire software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering through support for final deployment.
  • Join the development team, taking on work items to be implemented each Sprint;
  • Perform development-related activities such as analysis and design, programming, testing, and requirements;
  • Carry out software development activities in a multidisciplinary manner, with a focus on product quality and maintainability;
  • Manage own work, promptly notifying the team of any delays or other impediments;
  • Provide guidance and support to other developers on the project team;
  • Code and integrate software components according to technical specifications;
  • Identify, build, and test developed components to ensure quality;
  • Perform corrective and evolutionary maintenance of software components;
  • Prepare technical documentation according to contract requirements;
  • Integrate produced components with those built by other team members;
  • Set up and configure the local development environment;
  • Provide support to the client's IT team and users;
  • Deliver and execute integration testing in the client's environment;
  • Monitor user acceptance testing (UAT) and deployment of the software in the client's environments;
  • Provide training and knowledge transfer to the client regarding the developed software;
  • Understand the operation of information systems through experimentation and observation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, or completion of any undergraduate degree plus a postgraduate qualification (specialization, master's or doctorate) in Information Technology of at least 360 hours.
  • Experience developing applications in distributed environments using .NET Framework or .NET Core.
  • Knowledge of C# or VB.NET and object-oriented programming;
  • .NET Framework 4.5+, .NET Core 3.1+ or .NET 6+;
  • ADO.NET, Entity Framework, LINQ;
  • ASP.NET MVC, Razor, Web API;
  • SQL Server, Oracle (modeling and queries);
  • RESTful APIs, Swagger/OpenAPI;
  • Version control with Git, GitLab or GitHub;
  • Jenkins or Azure DevOps;
  • Testing with xUnit, MSTest or NUnit.
