About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Detect natural gas leaks to protect the community and prevent harm
Navigate natural gas incidents and implement proper solutions using provided training
Accurately relay findings and convey information
Work outdoors, typically walking 5+ miles per day
Work independently after training, applying time management and problem-solving skills
Use safety equipment and technology to detect leaks and analyze data
Provide professional and responsive customer service
Perform bending, crouching, kneeling, walking several miles per day, and carrying equipment up to 20 lbs.
Work Monday to Thursday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Requirements

What you’ll need

High School Diploma or GED
Valid, unexpired driver's license
Personal vehicle for daily work use
Passion for environmental safety
Problem-solving ability
Superb customer service skills
Communication skills to accurately relay findings
Attention to detail
Physical stamina and endurance for outdoor work
Ability to bend, crouch, kneel, and walk several miles per day
Ability to carry up to 20 lbs. of equipment
Direct experience with hands-on technology is a plus
