About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Join the Government Public & Regulatory team and advise a diverse range of Commonwealth clients.
- Work on complex and challenging administrative and regulatory matters.
- Assist with high-profile, sensitive, and strategic matters alongside leading experts.
- Participate in regular advocacy work in Federal Courts and the Administrative Review Tribunal.
- Work alongside leading Australian administrative and regulatory lawyers in a high-performing, supportive, and collaborative team environment.
- Develop the practice according to personal aspirations and interests.
Requirements
What you’ll need- At least 12 months’ experience in a well-regarded litigation practice.
- Ideally, experience in administrative/public law with merits review, judicial review, or regulatory law exposure.
- Solid grounding in and demonstrated interest in administrative law.
- Ideally, advocacy experience in Tribunals and/or Federal Courts.
- Successful applicants are subject to pre-employment and, in some circumstances, ongoing criminal history and other background checks.
