MCERTS Flow Coordinator

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Ensure flow and Event Duration Monitoring (EDM) data is accurately reported to the Environment Agency (EA)
- Assist in MCERTS certification, working closely with operational teams and external inspectors
- Provide expert advice on flow measurement, event duration monitors, and wastewater processes
- Support the delivery of flow monitoring schemes under the Water Industry National Environment Programme (WINEP)
- Maintain and improve the MCERTS management system and associated processes
Requirements
What you’ll need- A degree in science, engineering, or environmental studies (or equivalent experience)
- Experience in the utilities sector, preferably in water and wastewater
- Knowledge of environmental legislation, regulation, and permits
- Strong analytical skills and experience handling large data sets using Excel or similar tools
