About the role

  • Design and develop E2E tests using Playwright (TypeScript).
  • Actively perform manual tests for new functionalities, UI roles, and edge cases to ensure comprehensive coverage.
  • Serve as a gatekeeper for Pull Requests containing E2E tests.
  • Monitor GitHub Actions results, analyze failures, and stabilize flaky tests.
  • Use AI tools practically to generate test scenarios, analyze coverage, and organize tests.
  • Provide technical mentoring to junior Test Automation Engineers and support developers to ensure test consistency and readability.
  • Take ownership of quality within assigned epics and ensure tests are readable and consistent with established patterns (Page Object Pattern).

Requirements

  • Commercial experience with Playwright and TypeScript is essential.
  • Proven experience in testing web applications with large E2E suites.
  • Willingness and ability to conduct manual testing alongside automation.
  • Practical experience using AI tools in daily QA work for analysis and scenario generation.
  • "Quality-first" approach with the ability to take ownership of tasks without constant supervision.
  • Familiarity with Git, CI/CD (GitHub Actions), and reading test reports/artifacts.
