About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Configure and maintain JIRA workflows, projects, and issue tracking systems
- Manage and optimize JIRA configurations to meet business and technical requirements
- Integrate JIRA with GitLab, Confluence, and other DevOps tools
- Support Agile methodologies and related project management practices
- Troubleshoot and resolve system issues related to JIRA administration
- Collaborate with development, operations, and project teams to improve processes and system functionality
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field OR five (5) years of equivalent experience in JIRA administration
- Demonstrated experience configuring and managing JIRA workflows
- Experience managing issue tracking systems and workflow automation
- Proficiency in JIRA administration, including workflow development and permission management
- Experience integrating JIRA with GitLab, Confluence, or other DevOps tools
- Experience with Agile methodologies, dashboard customization, and service-level agreement (SLA) monitoring
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Atlassian Certified JIRA Administrator certification is desired
- ITIL Foundation Certification is desired
- Must have a strong internet connection
- Must have a quiet workspace free from interruptions and background noise
