Logistics Manager
SOSiLogistics Manager Intern supporting SOSi's Missions Solutions Business Unit through DOD approved SkillBridge program. Gaining valuable insights in logistics management, transportation, and operations support.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Coordinates the planning and implementation of business logistics and maintenance activities
- Communicates with staff in accordance with established policies and objectives
- Foster a team-oriented work environment
- Provide PR/PO support with the Missions Business Unit
- Coordinate local dispatch activities
- Upholding policies for local dispatch operations
- Submits recommendations for logistics policies and procedures
- Ensures compliance to agreements and contracts
- Works directly with the Missions Business Unit
- Collaborates with Operations Team to monitor proficiency and recommend improvements
- Reviews and analyzes reports to recommend process improvements.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree is preferred
- Logistics certifications preferred
- Determined passion for our clients’ mission
- Ability to operate independently
- Exceptional verbal communication skills
- Commitment to growth.
