About the role
- Create, manage, and maintain daily, weekly, and ongoing caregiver schedules
- Match caregivers to clients based on skills, certifications, location, and client preferences
- Communicate schedule assignments, updates, and changes to caregivers and clients
- Handle call-outs, last-minute schedule changes, and emergency coverage
- Monitor schedules for compliance with labor laws, overtime limits, and agency policies
- Coordinate with nursing, HR, and operations teams regarding new hires
- Update and maintain accurate scheduling and visit records
- Confirm scheduled visits, track attendance, and address missed or late shifts
- Respond to caregiver and client scheduling inquiries, concerns, or complaints
- Support payroll accuracy by verifying hours worked
Requirements
- 1 year of professional experience
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with caregivers, clients, and families
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Professional, empathetic, and calm under pressure
- Dependable, flexible, and reliable scheduling availability
- Studies Secondary Basic Education
- English - Advanced
