About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Consult with clinicians on the safe and effective use of Solventum products
- Attend procedures and placements in hospital care settings
- Deliver sustainable business growth through account and territory management
- Identify and solve customer financial and clinical priorities
- Educate clinicians, including through inservicing
- Build and maintain relationships with key clinical and economic stakeholders
- Use clinical and economic evidence to advocate for and grow therapy adoption
- Persuade key stakeholders to advocate for proposed solutions and products
- Provide customer support and service
- Complete sales training and demonstrate proficiency
- Use company software for planning, pipeline management, and utilization tracking
- Represent Solventum at conferences, trade shows, and symposiums
- Coordinate patient transition of care
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s Degree or higher and 2 years of sales and/or clinical experience, or High School Diploma/GED and 4 years of sales and/or clinical experience
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Current, valid Driver’s License
- Must successfully complete a pre-hire motor vehicle record review and maintain ongoing eligibility under Solventum’s driver policy and insurance requirements
- Proven sales quota and target attainment
- Prior wound care or medical device sales experience
- Experience establishing customer relationships with key influencers, such as surgeons
- Territory management and business planning experience
- Understanding of clinical value drivers across care areas
- Customer-focused selling and closing experience
- Experience navigating complex selling cycles
- Formal sales training program completion
- CRM experience, such as Salesforce
- Experience with new product introductions and value analysis processes
- Outstanding data and analytical skills
- Legally authorized to work in the country of employment without employment visa sponsorship
- May need licenses, vaccinations, and/or other credentials required by healthcare or third-party facilities
