Participating in client audit engagements
Performing outpatient coding audits
Identifying and recommending opportunities for customer improvements
Interacting with and educating external and internal customers on outpatient coding and documentation related topics

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited university with (8) eight years of experience in a private, public, government or military environment OR High School Diploma/GED AND eleven (11) years of experience in a private, public, government or military environment
CIRCC and/or 5+ years of interventional radiology/cardiology CPT procedure coding experience
RHIA OR RHIT OR CCS-P or CPC certification and minimum of five (5) years of professional clinical coding experience
Proficient Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint and other Microsoft Office programs
Ability to solve problems in a logical, methodical, and time efficient manner
Analytical skills related to independently interpreting, preparing, and analyzing data
Proven ability to maintain superior customer and employee relations in a fast-paced environment
Experience with telecommuting, working with EMRs and other electronic tools
