About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Assessing specifications and requirements for consistency and accuracy.
Creating and maintaining test suites to provide full coverage of component logic paths and calculations, ensuring software implementations meet design/logic specifications.
Executing test cases (both manual and automated), analyze testcase execution to identify abnormalities and report defects.
Designing, developing, and maintaining tools for generating tests, running tests, and comparing and analyzing results, always with automation in mind.
Delivering test suites to clients on-schedule while ensuring the highest degree of accuracy.
Participating in "Agile" team planning sessions to identify dependency chain and task breakdown, providing estimates and outline test approach.
Supporting clients by investigating and addressing concerns, providing tests and collaborating when necessary.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s Degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited university AND Four (4) years of Experience in software development.
OR High School Diploma/GED or higher from an accredited institution and a minimum of Ten (10) years of experience in the software development in lieu of the bachelor’s degree education requirement.
AND
Three (3) years of experience creating software quality and/or data processing tests.
Experience testing applications that are implemented using JAVA, SQL, JSON Technology.
Experience working with an “Agile” team using Scrum Framework.
