About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Designing, developing, testing, and maintaining automation solutions that improve reliability, efficiency, and scalability of systems and processes
- Partnering with engineering, security, and operations teams to identify automation opportunities
- Reducing manual effort and improving overall service delivery through code-driven solutions
- Designing, developing, and maintaining automation scripts, workflows, and frameworks to support infrastructure, application, and security operations
- Translating operational or business requirements into reliable and scalable automated solutions
- Building reusable automation components and libraries following established engineering standards
- Integrating automation with cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines, APIs, and third‑party tools
- Performing code reviews, testing, documentation, and ongoing maintenance of automation solutions
- Troubleshooting automation failures and optimizing existing workflows for performance and reliability
- Collaborating with cross‑functional teams to identify automation opportunities and drive continuous improvement
- Supporting production environments and participating in issue resolution and root‑cause analysis
- Contributing to automation standards, best practices, and technical documentation
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
- 3–6 years of experience in automation development, software engineering, or DevOps‑related roles
- Proficiency in one or more scripting or programming languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Bash, JavaScript)
- Experience working with APIs, REST services, and automation integrations
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (e.g., Git)
- Experience automating processes in cloud or hybrid environments
- Strong problem‑solving, debugging, and analytical skills
- Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status)
