About the role

  • Regional business management to deliver sustainable growth based on targets / quotas
  • Identify and solve customer financial & clinical priorities & constraints
  • Use data and analytics to inform business planning
  • Provide comprehensive coaching and support to all team members through field rides, 1:1 meeting, and team meetings
  • Demonstrate clinical proficiency upon successful completion of training program
  • Manage team opportunity pipeline and critical business KPIs in Salesforce
  • Manage direct reports (sales & clinical) holding them accountable to achieve corporate annual financial and strategic goals
  • Model corporate core values
  • Hire, develop, and retain a high performing team
  • Ensure team members utilize tools, reporting, targeting, and materials designed to help them succeed
  • Manage corporate relationships and business interaction (e.g., contract negotiations) with key customers & local IDNs
  • Collaborate with channel/distribution partners to advance relationships and ensure alignment on mutually beneficial tactics/programs
  • Manage team expenses to ensure good financial stewardship
  • Ensure maximized collaboration between sellers and clinical specialists
  • Collaborate with cross-functional internal business stakeholders (e.g., national accounts, marketing, AR)

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree AND minimum 5 years combined sales and sales management experience, in a private, public, government or military environment OR High School Diploma/GED AND minimum 9 years combined sales and sales management experience, in a private, public, government or military environment
  • Current and valid driver’s license
  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications (i.e. Excel, Power Point, Outlook)
  • Master’s degree (additional qualification)
  • Experience leading teams or selling in a hospital-based setting
  • Strong understanding of clinical value drivers across hospital care areas and alternative sites of care
  • Demonstrated management, planning, and organizational skills
  • Experience business planning and forecasting for products with complex sales cycles
  • Proven track record of leading teams that meet or exceed sales targets and quotas
  • Demonstrated analytical, problem solving, project management, and implementation skills
  • Proven ability to cultivate strong internal and external collaborative relationships
  • Strong track record of hiring and developing outstanding talent
