About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Identifying and leading projects in the manufacturing network with a focus upon controls, robotics, data analytics, and automation to drive improvement to process safety, quality, service, cost, capacity, and productivity.
  • Identifying, creating, and optimizing solutions to drive business outcomes.
  • Working collaboratively with cross-functional teams on automated solutions, both new and existing, that drive quantified business impact for various discrete and continuous processes.
  • Supporting the Global Supply Chain Strategy in Solventum by advancing Process Technology to deliver the Operating Plan.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) AND five (5) years of manufacturing/engineering experience in a private, public, government or military environment.
  • OR High School Diploma/GED AND nine (9) years of manufacturing/engineering experience in a private, public, government or military environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in an engineer discipline
  • Five (5) years of manufacturing experience, including experience in Controls, Robotics, Data Analytics, and/or Project Management in a private, public, government or military environment
  • Experience with Automation systems and methodologies including continuous motion assembly, process integration, vision integration, and standardization.
  • Experience with data analysis and visualization including PLC Programming, Grafana, Ignition, SEEQ, and PowerBI.
  • Strong project management skills and experience implementing new process equipment into manufacturing.
  • Ability to analyze, organize, and manage dynamic priorities.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with strong communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Training and experience in Lean methodology, statistics, SPC, DOE, and Six Sigma.
