About the role
- Generalist profile with a strong sense of responsibility and a focus on Brazilian legal matters;
- Provide legal support to business teams based in Brazil on commercial matters (public and private sectors), with an emphasis on contract law (particularly commercial, distribution and reseller agreements), public procurement/bidding processes, and competition law;
- Assist the Director, Assistant General Counsel LATAM, on all legal matters in Brazil in developing and implementing solutions to enable the legal team to succeed in a sustainable and compliant manner, and support "export countries" on distribution agreements;
- Provide legal support in the analysis, review and drafting of corporate policies (commercial, distribution, procurement/bidding, etc.), as well as commercial partnerships, incentive campaigns and related matters;
- Perform various legal activities and consultancies related to commercial, competition and procurement/bidding issues;
- Work closely with other global Legal teams, such as Compliance, Data Privacy, Employment (Labor) and Litigation;
- Serve as a legal business partner to other internal Solventum teams, including Regulatory, Finance, HR, Supply/Logistics, Manufacturing and Procurement;
- Collect, organize, maintain and/or manage information, contracts, templates, databases and interactions with external law firms.
Requirements
- University degree, active OAB registration (Brazilian Bar Association) and a minimum of 10 years of experience
- Fluent English and intermediate Spanish
