About the role

  • Creating, managing, and reporting on the Solventum corporate Engineering Capital Plan.
  • Serving as a key liaison to the business and guiding capital project estimating, funding requests, and project reporting.
  • Developing and implementing Capital Project estimating standards and tools.
  • Administering the Company Enterprise Portfolio and Project Management (EPPM) system.
  • Coordinating capital project budget planning efforts and timings in conjunction with Finance.
  • Reporting monthly on the capital portfolio performance across the business.
  • Managing the capital project approval process and ensuring compliance.

Requirements

  • Master’s Degree or higher and six (6) years of project controls experience in a private, public, government or military environment.
  • OR Bachelor’s Degree and eight (8) years of project controls experience in a private, public, government or military environment.
  • OR High School Diploma/GED and twelve (12) years of project controls experience in a private, public, government or military environment.
  • Demonstratable Business and Financial Acumen experience
  • Capital project estimating and cost controls experience
  • Power BI and Data Visualization experience
  • Proven ability to successfully influence, negotiate, and resolve conflicts to drive decisions across all levels of the organization
  • Ability to operate at Strategic and Operational levels
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks
  • Ability to drive for results while navigating ambiguity.
