About the role
- Driving and leading implementation of Value Analysis/Value Engineering (VAVE) and executing supplier transfers across Solventum to achieve measurable net cost reductions.
- Partnering with suppliers to evaluate alternative materials that offer cost savings without compromising product quality.
- Driving significant supplier base reduction by managing the change management process.
- Recommending and deploying dual/multi sources of supply for key products.
- Leveraging project and change management skills to drive continuous improvements.
- Implementing lean methodologies to achieve cost reduction targets.
Requirements
- Bachelor Degree or higher in an engineering or supply chain discipline (completed and verified prior to start)
- Four (4) years of engineering and/or manufacturing experience
- Masters degree Supply chain/Engineering or business related field from an accredited institution (additional qualification)
- Familiarity with VAVE tools and processes
- Familiarity with Solventum CMP process (Change Management Process)
- Familiarity with supplier transfer processes
- Familiarity with Production Part Approval Process (PPAP)
- Excellent Program Management skills
- Excellent negotiation skills and proven success working under pressure while driving projects to closure.
