About the role
- Takes inbound technical customer support calls for the Solventum HIS software solutions, which may involve multiple client phone conversations to fully understand and resolve issues\n
- Identifies and resolves customer software problems, software failures, and complex problems which require independent action to correct and/or prevent\n
- Implements software changes to resolve customer issues\n
- Builds credibility and trust with Solventum HIS customers and departments by providing solutions to software issues, inquiries and problems\n
- Participates in the on-call rotation\n
- Assists in the escalation process to Development or Systems Engineering for tickets which cannot be resolved internally\n
- Actively participates in relevant corporate programs/initiatives, complies with professional and quality standards complies with corporate policies and procedures, and acts in a manner consistent with Solventum’s values and ethical standards\n
- Analyzes and recommend alternative solutions to meet customer needs\n
- Identifies areas of opportunity to improve communication and efficiency to enhance customer satisfaction\n
- Supports the team process and participate on cross-functional teams
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher\n
- OR High School Diploma/GED AND (7) seven years in a private, public, government or military environment\n
- (2) two years in a private, public, government or military environment\n
- Minimum of one (1+) one years of supporting a Windows based web server that utilized one or more of the following technologies Apache, Tomcat or IIS\n
- Related experience in consulting, software development, 2nd or 3rd tier technical support, technical project management, training development\n
- Ability to solve problems in a logical, methodical, and time efficient manner\n
- Preferred 1 year of Microsoft SQL database experience\n
- Understanding of the health care industry, and medical coding specifically\n
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field\n
- Knowledge and experience with XML\n
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team\n
- Knowledge and experience with interfaces, particularly HL7, XML, JSON\n
- Solventum HIS product knowledge\n
- Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status
