About the role

  • Utilize scientific and clinical expertise to research, develop, edit, format, and proofread medical and scientific publications in English
  • Produce a variety of medical/scientific documents including abstracts, posters, and manuscripts
  • Report to the Medical Information and Publications Manager and may supervise junior writers or contractors
  • Participate or lead publication panel planning meetings
  • Work independently or collaboratively on writing projects
  • Demonstrate initiative in identifying and resolving challenges throughout the publication process
  • Maintain comprehensive understanding of all Solventum product literature
  • Effectively manage and prioritize multiple projects to ensure timely completion of tasks

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with 7–10 years of experience in medical and scientific publications research and authorship
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint, or equivalent PC programs
  • Experience in the design, development, and authorship of publication panels
  • Demonstrated expertise in medical and scientific writing principles and practices
  • Master’s or PhD degree in Science or related field preferred
  • Knowledge of Solventum products
  • Advanced writing, critical thinking, and analytical abilities
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proven ability to interact effectively with employees and external business partners
  • Demonstrated capacity to handle confidential information with discretion
