About the role
- Support the installation, configuration, and management of production and testing of Oracle databases on AWS RDS and EC2 Linux bastion servers
- Design and manage high-availability and disaster recovery solutions
- Execute upgrades for Linux systems or Oracle databases
- Optimize Oracle databases and SQL performance
- Develop and maintain shell scripts on EC2 Linux servers
- Execute end‑to‑end build, release, and operational routines for the data management tool
- Develop and maintain front‑ and back‑end code for the data management system
- Document technical aspects of database and application development
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher from an accredited university and 8 years of experience in software development OR High School Diploma/GED or higher and 12 years of experience in software development
- Working knowledge of Oracle SQL, and PL/SQL
- Three (3) years of database administration experience
- Experience with frontend and backend programming languages
