About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop and maintain integrated Scientific Communication Platforms (SCPs) across all programs.
Translate scientific and clinical data into compelling, evidence-based scientific narratives.
Ensure consistency of messaging across publications, congresses, medical education, and stakeholder engagements.
Partner with cross-functional teams to align scientific and business priorities.
Lead global publication planning processes across the portfolio.
Develop annual and multi-year publication strategies aligned with development milestones.
Oversee manuscript, abstract, poster, and oral presentation development.
Manage publication agencies, medical writers, and external vendors.
Ensure adherence to ICMJE, GPP, and publication ethics standards.
Lead scientific congress planning and content strategy.
Coordinate development of congress materials and scientific presentations.
Support advisory boards, investigator meetings, and scientific exchange activities.
Develop scientific narratives that communicate the differentiated value of Solid’s platforms and programs.
Support preparation of scientific materials for internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Advanced scientific degree (PhD, PharmD, MD)
8–12+ years of experience in Medical Affairs, Scientific Communications, Publications, or Clinical Development
Demonstrated expertise in publication planning, scientific narrative development, and SCP creation
Strong understanding of rare disease and gene therapy environments preferred
Excellent written, verbal, and strategic communication skills.
