About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and maintain integrated Scientific Communication Platforms (SCPs) across all programs.
- Translate scientific and clinical data into compelling, evidence-based scientific narratives.
- Ensure consistency of messaging across publications, congresses, medical education, and stakeholder engagements.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to align scientific and business priorities.
- Lead global publication planning processes across the portfolio.
- Develop annual and multi-year publication strategies aligned with development milestones.
- Oversee manuscript, abstract, poster, and oral presentation development.
- Manage publication agencies, medical writers, and external vendors.
- Ensure adherence to ICMJE, GPP, and publication ethics standards.
- Lead scientific congress planning and content strategy.
- Coordinate development of congress materials and scientific presentations.
- Support advisory boards, investigator meetings, and scientific exchange activities.
- Develop scientific narratives that communicate the differentiated value of Solid’s platforms and programs.
- Support preparation of scientific materials for internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Advanced scientific degree (PhD, PharmD, MD)
- 8–12+ years of experience in Medical Affairs, Scientific Communications, Publications, or Clinical Development
- Demonstrated expertise in publication planning, scientific narrative development, and SCP creation
- Strong understanding of rare disease and gene therapy environments preferred
- Excellent written, verbal, and strategic communication skills.
