About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design, build, maintain, and optimize business-critical automation solutions
Build Python automations including API integrations, data pipelines, scheduled jobs, and process replacements
Maintain, debug, repair, and modernize unattended Power Automate cloud and desktop flows
Operate Power Platform environments, solutions, connection references, and pipeline-managed deployments
Migrate Power Automate flows to Python where appropriate and retire obsolete flows
Integrate systems over REST APIs, handling JSON/XML transformation, authentication, and endpoint failures
Author SQL queries, tables, and stored procedures supporting automations
Instrument jobs with logging, monitoring, and alerting
Write runbooks and improve automation operations
Evaluate and help migrate scheduled VM jobs toward containerized or Azure-native execution, including Functions and Container Apps
Use AI coding tools within company governance and review standards
Document automation solutions for engineers and operating partners
Work directly with business stakeholders and non-technical process owners
Own the full lifecycle of automation solutions from development and deployment through monitoring, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement

Requirements

What you’ll need

+90% English, written and oral (C1 level), with excellent communication skills
Python proficiency, including clean scripting, packaging, error handling, structured logging, and testing
Power Automate expertise across unattended cloud and desktop flows
Ability to support Power Platform administration, including environments, solutions, connection references, and pipeline-managed deployments
3 to 5 years in automation engineering, RPA, or software engineering roles with automations shipped to production and operated afterward
REST API integration experience, including authentication patterns and rate-limit handling
SQL Server competence, including T-SQL and authoring queries, tables, and stored procedures through a reviewed, versioned release process
Working knowledge of Azure DevOps pipelines
Daily fluency with AI-assisted development and demonstrated current use of AI coding tools in real work
PowerShell and Shell scripting for Windows and Linux hosts
Production instincts, including idempotent jobs, retries with backoff, and effective alerting
Ability to work USA ET business hours
Ability to remain focused for extended periods of time
Ability to work extra hours on short notice to accomplish goals
