About the role
- Design, implement, and optimize our Kafka-based event streaming platform, ensuring scalability, security, and reliability
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve infrastructure, observability, and deployment workflows
- Automate platform operations using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and scripting
- Contribute to the platform strategy, helping evolve our architecture as the business grows
Requirements
- Strong hands-on expertise in Apache Kafka (scaling, monitoring, fault tolerance, security, and data migration)
- Proven experience in Cloud & Kubernetes Management (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm charts, Operators, Service Meshes)
- Solid understanding of Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including Compute Engine, Cloud Functions, Pub/Sub, and Cloud Tasks
- Strong knowledge of Infrastructure Management & Automation using Terraform and Terragrunt
- Experience working with VPCs, API Gateways, and Load Balancers
- Skilled in CI/CD pipeline development, ideally using GitLab
- Proficiency in Python and Bash scripting, with the ability to build automation tools
- Hands-on experience with Monitoring & Logging solutions such as Prometheus and Grafana
- Strong communication skills
