Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5+ years in Windows systems/platform engineering, including at least 1–2 years with broader ownership (leading work, driving projects, or coordinating others)
  • Configuration and maintenance of Windows Server environments
  • Patching and lifecycle management of Windows and accompanying services
  • Domain services: Active Directory (ADFS a plus, depending on your estate - see note)
  • PowerShell scripting, plus at least one other programming language (Python preferred)
  • Using Ansible to manage systems and processes
  • Virtualisation fundamentals — solid in at least one of VMware / KVM / OpenStack
  • Maintenance of infrastructure tooling hosted on Windows systems
  • Creating and maintaining technical documentation
  • IAM/SSO with Entra ID; LDAP
