Hardware/Electrical Design Engineer

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design hardware and electrical control systems for industrial automation equipment, including but not limited to conveyor systems, sortation equipment, and flow-control devices used in parcel, logistics, and e-commerce distribution operations
- This role sits within their hardware engineering team, and is responsible for design only, while other teams handle field installation and commissioning
- Projects are substantial in duration, and engineers move from one project to the next as design phases complete
Requirements
What you’ll need- Senior-level experience (5+ years) in hardware/electrical design for industrial automation or material handling equipment
- Strong AutoCAD proficiency
- Solid understanding of the physical components involved (motors, drives, sensors, PLCs)
- Strong English communication skills for real-time collaboration with U.S. engineering counterparts and project teams
- Ability to work independently, remotely
