About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • As a Senior .NET Developer, you will play a key role in designing, building, and delivering cloud-native applications that power scalable and reliable digital services.
  • Collaborate closely with architects, DevOps engineers, and cross-functional teams to develop solutions that leverage the best of Microsoft Azure technologies.
  • Lead the development of robust backend services using Microsoft .NET and Azure cloud technologies.
  • Design and implement event-driven architectures utilizing Azure Service Bus and Event Hub.
  • Build and maintain Azure Function Apps, App Services, and contribute to efficient CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps.
  • Ensure code quality through automated testing, code reviews, and adherence to software engineering best practices.
  • Optimize database performance and reliability through proficient use of SQL Server and related technologies.
  • Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues while ensuring system stability and performance.
  • Actively contribute to architectural decisions and propose scalable solutions for evolving business needs.
  • Drive a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement within the development team.
  • Work in an environment that values clean code, automation, and innovation.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum 6 years working as a .NET Developer
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft .NET for building cloud-based services
  • Familiarity with Azure messaging/event-driven services such as Service Bus and Event Hub
  • Experience working with Azure Function Apps, App Services, and Azure DevOps
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
  • Familiarity with unit testing and mocking frameworks
  • Proficiency in SQL and database development (e.g., SQL Server)
  • Experience with automated testing, debugging, and code reviews
  • Demonstrable experience of end-to-end design, build, and delivery of applications, ideally within a cloud-native environment
  • Writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code with a strong focus on quality, testing, and best practices
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve backend issues proactively and efficiently
  • Ability to anticipate challenges, propose solutions, and take ownership of tasks
  • Experience using AI-assisted development tools
  • Fluent communication in English.
