About the role

  • Join a long-running program modernizing and operating cloud-native platforms at telecom scale.
  • Build & run CI/CD: Implement and maintain resilient delivery pipelines (GitHub Actions / GitLab CI / Jenkins; GitOps with Argo CD/Flux where it fits).
  • Automate everything: Replace manual steps across build, test, deploy and ops with code; leverage AWS services pragmatically to keep things simple and portable.
  • Operate AWS environments: Provision and optimize infrastructure for cost, performance and HA/DR using Terraform and AWS best practices.
  • Make systems observable: Implement metrics, logs and traces with Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry and ELK/EFK; integrate CloudWatch and X-Ray where useful.
  • Troubleshoot & improve: Investigate deployment, infra and performance issues; add guardrails and automation to prevent regressions.
  • Migration support: Contribute to well-planned, secure migrations between environments/accounts/regions (networking, runbooks, cutovers).
  • Partner with developers & security: Embed cloud and DevSecOps good practices into the SDLC; apply identity, network, data and pipeline hardening.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years in DevOps/SRE/Platform roles with hands-on AWS experience.
  • Proficiency with Terraform (modules, remote state, workspaces); Ansible is a plus.
  • CI/CD fluency: GitHub Actions / GitLab CI / Jenkins; exposure to GitOps (Argo CD/Flux).
  • Containers at scale: Docker; Kubernetes (EKS preferred) or ECS.
  • Solid AWS fundamentals: EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, VPC (networking, security, multi-account).
  • Observability tooling: Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry; ELK/EFK; CloudWatch/X-Ray basics.
  • Scripting in Python and/or Bash; clear documentation and collaboration skills.
  • Certifications (nice to have): AWS Solutions Architect / DevOps Engineer.
  • Familiarity with policy-as-code (OPA/Conftest), KMS/Secrets Manager and compliance automation.
  • Exposure to service-mesh patterns and microservices observability is a plus.
