About the role
- Report to the Director of Analytics and enable data-driven decision-making across the organization
- Build strong partnership with brand and performance marketing teams
- Create or help create a comprehensive marketing measurement framework including attribution and controlled experiments
- Proactively identify trends and patterns in data to inform strategic decision-making
- Conduct ad-hoc analysis for marketing, product development, and supply chain
- Develop and maintain advanced SQL queries to extract and manipulate data
- Utilize Python to analyze large datasets and develop data-driven insights
- Design and implement data visualizations and dashboards to communicate insights to stakeholders
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for leveraging data to solve business challenges
- Work with customer buying data as well as marketing data
Requirements
- +90% English written and oral (at least B2 level) with excellent communication skills
- 5+ years of experience working as a data analyst, preferably in a retail or e-commerce environment
- 4-5 years of experience (listed elsewhere in posting)
- Strong proficiency in SQL with the ability to write complex queries
- Proficiency in Python or R for data analysis (Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib)
- Experience with A/B testing and controlled experiments
- Experience working with large datasets and performing statistical analysis
- Intermediate experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker
- Understand foundational advertising P&L concepts (diminishing/marginal returns, elasticity, incrementality)
- Expertise in marketing measurement (brand tracking, attribution modeling, media mix models, controlled experimentation)
- Ability to translate complex findings into actionable insights and communicate with stakeholders
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to think in terms of creating data products in collaboration with engineers
