About the role
- Ensure that internal development infrastructure runs smoothly (CI/CD systems, SCM Git and artifact repositories)
- Operate and further develop cloud infrastructure in AWS and advise software architects on suitable AWS services for new projects
- Design and implement scalable cloud architectures based on best practices
- Manage DevOps platform, including Kubernetes, GitLab, CI/CD pipelines, and database infrastructures
- Ensure secure and stable operation of the infrastructure through regular maintenance
- Monitor systems, proactively investigate and resolve incidents
- Ensure compliance with compliance and security standards throughout the infrastructure
- Expand GitOps approaches to infrastructure automation and continuously improve DevOps processes
Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional experience in DevOps/cloud engineering
- In-depth knowledge of AWS services (EC2, EKS, RDS, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, etc.)
- Practical experience with Kubernetes in production environments
- Expertise in infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Experience with GitLab CI/CD, SonarQube, and repository management (Nexus)
- Team player qualities and an open and communicative nature with an independent and conscientious approach to work and a consulting mindset
- High standards for structured work and quality results
- Solid understanding of AI and its possible applications in everyday work
- Very good written and spoken German and English skills.
