About the role
- Softeta is an IT solutions provider based in Vilnius, Lithuania, supporting companies with tailor-made software development and data-driven solutions for clients in the energy sector.
- Support deployment and maintenance of legacy and new O4O systems at customer premises.
- Customer site support and on-site troubleshooting.
- Systems administration, including database hands-on work.
- Network configuration for industrial distributed systems.
- Collaborate with multicultural teams and communicate in English.
Requirements
- Understanding of automation fundamentals and familiarity with industry communication protocols (OPC UA, Modbus).
- Systems engineer background required followed by experience in systems administration, network configuration, database hands on experience, troubleshooting skills.
- Solid experience in deployment and maintenance of distributed systems in industrial environments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work in a multicultural team and strong communication skills in English.
- Higher technical education, preferred fields of study: Computer Science, Automation and Robotics, Systems Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering.
