About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Areas of financial accounting, with a focus on accounts payable and accounts receivable management
Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with HGB (German Commercial Code)
Preparation of financial statements for foreign subsidiaries and execution of consolidations
Execution of payment runs and account reconciliations
Development and optimization of accounting processes and support for automating recurring tasks
Close collaboration with internal departments and external partners (e.g., tax advisors, auditors)

Requirements

What you’ll need

Completed commercial vocational training or a relevant degree in business/economics
Several years of professional experience in accounting, ideally in a digital environment
Strong MS Excel skills and experience with ERP systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics NAV / Business Central, DATEV)
Experience with process digitalization
Interest in developing and improving existing structures and workflows
Native-level German and good English skills for internal company communication
Very precise, structured and independent way of working
High sense of responsibility and discretion
