About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Conduct psychological and psychoeducational evaluations
  • Assess cognitive, academic, developmental, behavioral, and emotional functioning
  • Conduct Autism Spectrum Disorder evaluations, including ADOS-2
  • Provide individual and family therapy based on training and areas of interest
  • Provide parent-focused interventions and support
  • Develop individualized, evidence-based treatment recommendations
  • Collaborate with families, schools, physicians, and other professionals
  • Participate in clinical consultation and team meetings
  • Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation and reports
  • Maintain competencies across assessment, diagnosis, and treatment
  • Develop specialized clinical services
  • Provide mentorship and supervision as applicable
  • Collaborate across Psychology, Counseling, Education, OT, PT, Speech, and ABA disciplines

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Doctoral or Master's degree in Psychology
  • Active North Carolina psychology license or eligibility for licensure
  • Strong clinical, communication, and writing skills
  • Commitment to high-quality, family-centered care
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
  • Reside in the Charlotte area or plan to relocate within three months
  • Experience working with children, adolescents, and/or families preferred
  • Pediatric outpatient experience preferred
  • Experience conducting psychological or psychoeducational assessments preferred
  • Experience with Autism Spectrum Disorder evaluations and/or ADOS-2 preferred
  • Experience providing evidence-based therapeutic interventions preferred
  • ADOS-2 experience preferred
