About the role

  • As Associate Dean, AI: primary subject matter expert for AI and assigned programs within SNHU's online Global Campus Implement operational level project work and program projects to ensure overall product health Identify opportunities to increase operational efficiency and programmatic innovation Report to a Senior Associate Dean, online Product Health Promote learner success and quality through data-informed decisions Maintain programs and curriculum through oversight, ensuring efficient curriculum delivery and relevancy Assure achievement of institutional and programmatic benchmarks with analytical support Collaborate with instructional and curriculum design teams to apply learning theory and best practices Help design new flexible, scalable learning models addressing affordability, access, and speed to completion Ensure assigned programs meet accreditation standards and institutional policies Create environment promoting connection, community, and collaboration between faculty Conduct environmental scanning and research to identify trends and inform actions Support process improvements for automation, data/reporting, growth, cost reduction, and partner collaboration Participate in professional development to support professional growth and national presence

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, IT or related discipline Professional certification in Artificial Intelligence Two years of current industry experience in AI, Machine Learning, and Data Science, including current programming experience in Python, Java, and C++ Two years of experience working in higher education administration Experience in the successful administration of online degree programs Knowledge of environmental forces within the higher education environment and within assigned portfolio Understanding of the foundations of learning science and drivers of student success
