About the role

  • Identify, prioritize, and secure business opportunities
  • Drive revenue by seeking out business challenges with clients and partner agencies
  • Use consultative approach offering strategic media solutions using vertical playbooks and campaign goals
  • Serve as the business owner for partnerships among clients’ senior management
  • Partner with internal and client cross-functional teams to structure and execute operational and strategic initiatives
  • Define territory/region approach, develop work plans, and create compelling sales propositions using internal and external data
  • Balance priorities for innovation, learning agendas, and revenue growth
  • Ensure clients receive the highest level of sales and operational customer service
  • Develop and implement best practices for client interaction, sales, and services
  • Develop metrics to measure account growth and performance and recommend enhancements
  • Create persuasive sales presentations using market trends and case studies
  • Own planning and development of senior client meeting agendas and materials
  • Update clients on Snapchat products, educate clients and agencies on best practices
  • Provide guidance and mentorship for junior team members

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, marketing, or equivalent years of experience
  • 8-10+ years of marketing, brand advertising, media sales, and/or online advertising experience
  • Great presentation skills and proven record of managing senior relationships
  • Ability to manage many projects at once
  • Deep understanding of the digital advertising world
  • Expert knowledge of social media, mobile apps, and digital and mobile marketing (preferred)
  • Strong track record of engaging and partnering with C-Level executives (preferred)
  • Deep knowledge of the self-serve platform, auction, and biddable digital advertising buying (preferred)
  • Strong existing relationships with top marketing decision makers for brands and agencies (preferred)
  • Proven track record of reaching and exceeding sales goals (preferred)
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills (preferred)
  • Ability to perform well in a highly dynamic, rapidly changing environment (preferred)
