About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Define test and calibration methods for cameras and other optical sensors including algorithm development and test station hardware definition
- Drive test station manufacturing with third-party vendors
- Support tester bring up in collaboration with our manufacturing partners, write and maintain tester documentation, and review GR&R data
- Troubleshoot and debug test stations and test software and firmware releases
- Support failure analysis through review of test data in collaboration with the camera design engineers
- International travel up to 15% to support factory builds
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in optics, physics, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, computer science or related field
- 3+ years of experience in testing of cameras or optical sensors for consumer electronics
- Ability to travel internationally 15% of the time
- Experience with programming languages such as Python, MATLAB, and/or C/C++
- Strong data analysis and visualization skills using tools such as JMP, Python, or MATLAB
- Strong understanding of testing methodologies and standards for cameras and fundamental understanding of optical sensing technologies
- Knowledge of standard quality methodologies such as GR&R and SPC
