About the role
- Take ownership of dashboard delivery from requirements through to deployment
- Lead requirements analysis and dashboard design
- Build semantic models and interactive visualisations in Power BI
- Facilitate discussions and build consensus across teams
- Coach and mentor junior consultants
- Lead workshops or stakeholder sessions to refine requirements
- Deliver a suite of dashboards that drive business insight within first 3–6 months
- Identify opportunities for improvement and contribute to internal best practices
- Report to Wart van Hoek
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with Power BI (semantic modelling and visualisation)
- Familiarity with Databricks
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Growth mindset and experience mentoring others
- Weekly presence in Cape Town required and increased presence during critical phases
