About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support reliability initiatives with customers, OEMs, and internal teams
  • Develop and maintain maintenance standards, plans, and best practices
  • Analyze equipment availability and performance data, ensuring accurate reporting
  • Identify technical issues and support continuous improvement initiatives
  • Conduct root cause analysis and support equipment reliability improvement projects
  • Develop procedures, processes, and technical documentation
  • Investigate product issues and collaborate with OEMs on resolutions
  • Prepare technical reports and communicate findings to stakeholders
  • Analyze oil sample results and communicate concerns as required
  • Act as a technical resource for customers and support maintenance strategy development

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Engineering degree, preferably Mechanical Engineering
  • eligible for or pursuing Engineer-In-Training (EIT) designation
  • understanding of equipment reliability principles
  • ability to interpret equipment designs, engineering drawings, specifications, and standards
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and effectively assess risk
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Knowledge of occupational health, safety, and environmental requirements
  • Strong planning and organizational abilities
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to build effective working relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders
  • Reliability-related experience is considered an asset.
