Associate Product Manager (Documentation-First Onboarding): combine hands-on product work with documentation ownership and embedded in a product squad.
Phase 1 (first 6 months): create and maintain product documentation; design and manage Developer Portal structure; audit product workflows; establish documentation standards; convert recurring Support/Sales/Success questions into guides, macros, and FAQs; organize knowledge bases; monitor usage and run small activation experiments; participate in daily product work (user stories, UAT, shipping small improvements).
Phase 2 (month 6+): drive discovery from customer insights and data; write PRDs and stories with success metrics; run delivery rhythms and support release readiness; own outcomes and track KPIs (activation, adoption, retention, revenue impact); support go-to-market and enablement; champion operational excellence and improve handoffs.
Requirements
Excellent command of English; additional languages are a plus.
Strong interest in growing into a Product Manager role through a documentation-first pathway.
Proven experience in technical writing, documentation, or content management — ideally in SaaS or tech environments.
Familiarity with API documentation, SDKs, developer tools, and content architecture/taxonomy design.
Ability to translate technical concepts into clear, accessible guidance for different user personas (operators, developers, visitors, etc.).
Strong collaboration skills across cross-functional teams.
Analytical mindset with the ability to use metrics to improve content quality and product adoption.
