About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Ensure balance between quality, delivery speed, and the technical sustainability of the roadmap;
Participate in asynchronous communications to provide fast feedback;
Master the team's development routines;
Develop, maintain, and evolve frontend and backend applications;
Actively participate in the platform's architectural evolution;
Support initiatives for technological modernization and the decoupling of monolithic applications into a microservices-based architecture;
Contribute to defining strategies for scalability, observability, resilience, and service integration;
Identify opportunities for technical advancement, reduced coupling, and continuous platform improvement;
Support less-experienced developers through mentoring and code reviews;
Propose improvements and new architectures for applications;
Promote and apply best practices such as Clean Code, SOLID principles, and Design Patterns;
Participate in advancing application observability and monitoring;
Contribute to the management and evolution of cloud infrastructure (AWS);
Actively participate in technical discussions and strategic engineering decisions.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or a related field;
Strong experience with Node.js and TypeScript;
Strong experience with React.js;
Experience with relational and non-relational databases;
Experience with AWS infrastructure;
Knowledge of queues and topics (Kafka or similar);
Experience with code versioning (Git);
Knowledge of Design Patterns;
Knowledge of SOLID principles and Clean Code;
Experience with UI frameworks;
Experience with agile methodologies;
Understanding of microservices-based architecture;
Experience with CI/CD pipelines;
Experience with unit, integration, and E2E testing;
Experience serving as a technical reference, mentor, or technical lead is a plus;
Experience in application modernization and in migrating monolithic architectures to microservices is a plus.
