About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Install, service, troubleshoot, and remove alcohol monitoring and vehicle electronic devices
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment
  • Conduct customer training sessions and provide phone support
  • Make daily or weekly reminder calls to customers with upcoming appointments
  • Perform monthly inventory audits and assist nearby facilities as needed
  • Manage weekly work hours of no more than 40 hours and communicate effectively with management
  • Uphold confidentiality, data security, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations
  • Perform additional duties as assigned, including vehicle-to-vehicle transfers
  • Report to the Area Service Manager
  • Work out of both the Farmville and South Boston shops

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Proficient in 12-volt DC systems, including GPS systems, remote starts, stereos, and backup cameras
  • Skilled in wiring, connectors, programming electronic devices and vehicle equipment, diagnostics, multimeter testing, and circuit analysis
  • Experience servicing head units, logger boxes, cameras, modems, and curly cords
  • Knowledge of ignition, starter, and Body Control Module (BCM) systems
  • Hands-on experience with vehicle dashboards and interior panels, including removal and restoration to factory condition
  • Capable of secure device mounting with concealment and clearance from moving parts
  • At least 1 year of experience in a customer-facing role
  • Ability to provide phone support, conduct training sessions, and ensure client satisfaction
  • Ability to download log files, perform calibration updates, and deprogram devices
  • Ability to maintain shop cleanliness, perform vehicle-to-vehicle transfers, and support regional operations
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage time effectively
  • Able to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
  • Commitment to confidentiality, professionalism, and regulatory compliance
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation may be required depending on location
  • Ability to pass background checks and drug screening as applicable
  • Ability to commute regularly to both the Farmville and South Boston shops
