About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Contributes to the overarching content strategy alongside the Head of External Affairs.
Translates complex pension topics and product information into compelling narratives.
Creates accurate, engaging content on pension products, retirement planning, and regulatory topics.
Owns end-to-end development of content, ensuring it meets high standards.
Monitors content performance metrics and identifies opportunities for optimisation and repurposing.
Collaborates with compliance, legal and product teams to ensure content meets regulatory standards.

Requirements

What you’ll need

3+ years as a content writer with a strong portfolio of published long-form content.
Experience writing about pensions, investments or financial services.
Exceptional research, writing, and editing skills.
Solid understanding of SEO principles, keyword research, and content marketing best practices.
Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively.
Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple content projects simultaneously.
Understands customer behaviour, needs and understanding.
Experience with content management systems (CMS) is a plus.
