About the role

  • Contributes to the overarching content strategy alongside the Head of External Affairs.
  • Translates complex pension topics and product information into compelling narratives.
  • Creates accurate, engaging content on pension products, retirement planning, and regulatory topics.
  • Owns end-to-end development of content, ensuring it meets high standards.
  • Monitors content performance metrics and identifies opportunities for optimisation and repurposing.
  • Collaborates with compliance, legal and product teams to ensure content meets regulatory standards.

Requirements

  • 3+ years as a content writer with a strong portfolio of published long-form content.
  • Experience writing about pensions, investments or financial services.
  • Exceptional research, writing, and editing skills.
  • Solid understanding of SEO principles, keyword research, and content marketing best practices.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively.
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple content projects simultaneously.
  • Understands customer behaviour, needs and understanding.
  • Experience with content management systems (CMS) is a plus.
