About the role
- You shape the overall technical vision for the portal portfolio
- You develop technical standards in alignment with the entire development organization
- You make informed decisions regarding frontend architecture
- You design robust interfaces using REST, gRPC and Pub/Sub
- You continuously drive the harmonization of the codebase
- Together with the team, you own the efficiency of our delivery pipeline
- You establish best practices for Git and containerized environments
- You act as a technical sparring partner for product management and UX
- You actively manage the balance between building new features and maintenance work
Requirements
- 8+ years of professional experience developing complex full‑stack applications
- Ideally, experience in a technical leadership role
- Degree (University / FH / HF) in Computer Science or an equivalent qualification
- Understanding of security concepts (OWASP, AuthZ/AuthN) in the context of sensitive billing and control data
- Business‑fluent English and ideally fluent German
- Ability to present complex technical topics clearly to non‑technical stakeholders
- Team‑oriented, highly self‑motivated, and committed to a culture of openness, transparency and continuous learning
- Experience in mentoring, strategic code reviews and architecture‑level pair programming
