About the role
- Build and maintain relationships with clients that result in sustained revenue growth
- Achieve business financial targets
- Manage overall project/program budgets and schedules, client satisfaction/expectations
- Demonstrate proficiency in all aspects of project management and effective delegation
- Provide final senior review of technical or promotional communications prepared by staff and others
- Promote cross-selling of SLR technical services
- Manage junior staff
- Collaborate with project managers in engineering teams
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering
- Master’s degree in civil engineering with geotechnical specialty preferred
- 10+ years of relevant work experience in geotechnical engineering
- Licensed Professional Engineer in Connecticut
- Possess reliable transportation to travel to job sites with a valid driver’s license
- Field orientation and proven problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated project management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to develop rapport and credibility
