About the role

  • Build and maintain relationships with clients that result in sustained revenue growth
  • Achieve business financial targets
  • Manage overall project/program budgets and schedules, client satisfaction/expectations
  • Demonstrate proficiency in all aspects of project management and effective delegation
  • Provide final senior review of technical or promotional communications prepared by staff and others
  • Promote cross-selling of SLR technical services
  • Manage junior staff
  • Collaborate with project managers in engineering teams

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering
  • Master’s degree in civil engineering with geotechnical specialty preferred
  • 10+ years of relevant work experience in geotechnical engineering
  • Licensed Professional Engineer in Connecticut
  • Possess reliable transportation to travel to job sites with a valid driver’s license
  • Field orientation and proven problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated project management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to develop rapport and credibility
