About the role
- Driving the quality and delivery of environmental acoustics projects
- Work with the rest of the Aotearoa Service Lines, partnering with Environmental Consultants, Planners, and Ecologists across New Zealand and further afield
- Delivering the best possible outcome for clients with a focus on quality
- Preparing fee proposals
- Preparing and reviewing high quality reports
- Establishing strong working relationships with clients and developing new business opportunities
Requirements
- A professional qualification in acoustics and vibration or other relevant degree/experience
- 15+ years' experience at a professional level, ideally in consulting
- Experience delivering and reviewing highly technical reports
- Experience attending Council level and/or Environment Court hearings as an expert witness
- Demonstrated knowledge of the resource management act, local authority requirements and relevant standards and guidance
- Demonstrated experience working in multidisciplinary project teams
- Strong time management skills with the ability to manage multiple deliverables on competing timeframes
- A clear, concise and professional communication style (both written and spoken)
